Volunteering and what it Means
The more we give, the happier we feel. Volunteering increases self-confidence. You are doing good for others and the community, which provides a natural sense of accomplishment. Your role as a volunteer can also give you a sense of pride and identity.
A group of volunteers from UM with their lecturer came to Pure Life for social work. Happy to meet such energetic people with a heart to serve. Lots of work done in a day ...out door cleaning, mural painting , computer softwares for lab, fun activities for children and donated the required material.Hope we will have more of such people coming.God bless.
CIMB COPORATE RESPONSIBILITY
10TH November 2019, was a truly exciting day for the children as well as the almost 50 guests from the CIMB Legal & Compliance Division was at PLS to plant some trees to add more greens.

Dr Yusof Kwong married with 2 kids, and runs his own clinic in Petaling Jaya, has always found some precious moments to do voluntary services, Dr Kwong visits pure life society twice a week to provide his medical services to the home

With just the 6 of us, we spent a month to complete this project.
During the first week of the project, our main focus was on acquiring the necessary materials to refurbish the Art Studio with. We also carried out discussions to decide on the theme of the room, as well as our plan of action to complete this project. Our end goal was to create an innovative classroom with an environment that was conducive and inspiring enough to stimulate the creativity and artistic skills of the children. Apart from that, we also wanted to encourage positive self-expression among the children by providing them with a place and an outlet to channel their inner thoughts and ideas. Read More
